ESM S105: Early Start Program: Mathematics

Review of basic algebra skills and an introduction to functions intended for students who need to meet the CSU Early Start Program (ESP) requirement. 1 unit for baccalaureate credit. Credit/No Credit grading only. Hybrid format. 1 lecture. Prerequisite: Appropriate Math Placement Level. Concurrent enrollment in ESM S90.

Review of basic algebra skills intended for students who need to meet the CSU Early Start Program (ESP) requirement. 1.5 units not for baccalaureate credit. Credit/No Credit grading only. Prerequisite: Appropriate Math Placement Level. Concurrent enrollment in ESM S105.

ESE S105: Early Start English

Review of fundamental written communication skills; guided discussion of and reflection on the ways in which students interact with and produce texts; practice employing rhetorical strategies to meet the purpose, context, and audience expectations of a writing task.
For students required to fulfill the CSU Early Start Program. 1 unit for baccalaureate credit. Credit/No Credit grading only. 1 activity.
